The purpose of this template is to provide a references style backlink in a glossary entry to the place in the article from which the user jumped to the glossary. It is used in conjunction with template {{glosslink}} in the body of the article. The template is placed in front of the id text within the id parameter (parameter #2) of template {{term}}. Parameter #1 of glossback
is the id contained in parameter #1 of the relevant glosslink
template.
Parameter #2 of both glossback
and glosslink
contain the superscripted text that links to the glossary and back. A single, lowercase letter is recommended to distinguish from reference links. In the case of multiple occurrences of links to the same glossary entry, each occurrence of glosslink
can be assigned a different letter up to nine occurrences. These superscripts are entered into parameters #2 to #10 of glossback
.
See Waveguide filter for examples of usage.
