| This is a documentation subpage for Template:Box Drawings Light Vertical. It may contain usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page. |
This template should always be substituted (i.e., use {{subst:Box Drawings Light Vertical}}). |
Usage
{{subst:Box Drawings Light Vertical}}
or
{{subst:U2502}} inserts the Unicode box-drawing character │ ("box drawings light vertical"). In typical fonts, this has more whitespace around it than an ASCII vertical bar (a│b vs. a|b) and is slightly taller. It may be used as a visual separator between items, e.g. inside a table or a template.
It is not interpreted as wikimarkup so the issues described at Template:! never apply.
