*Though apparent to me it hasn't been effectively communicated the site is ready for user access (as per my experiences). Maintenance Log
4 - 21 (to) 27
- Much of the initial optimization and performance tuning is complete. I'm quietly working on auth and security minded aspects of the server. Plenty of documentation in the backlog (extensions, modules, templates, imports, help, etc.) Having taken care of some real life busywork I can start tending to these and rolling out proper updates to the file storage and interactive map.
- Varnish and Memcached are considered experimental at this point. Approaching them with caution and curiosity more than anything else. These elements are not critical for moving forward though they are on the list for experimentation.
- Focus is orienting towards site style, skin adjustments, page layouts and overall functionality.
- As of 4-25-25
- Due to the extreme need for tidying up around here and getting the presentation in order I'll be creating an exhaustive checklist of what need be addressed.
- Though apparent to me it hasn't been effectively communicated the site is ready for user access (as per my experiences). So, I'll try to make that message clearer by improving the site, its user-facing aspects and outline all the ways it can be used thereafter.
- The import process can begin...whenever.
