Template:Building IntroThe Bread Basket is a Storage container for storing up to 50 Bread items. The ability to build this building is unlocked after researching Baking. It can be used to automate the Hunger management of the units inside a player-owned outpost or building in town.
This container has a storage space of 6x6 that exclusively stores bread.
This structure is one of several storage containers that player characters can be assigned to auto-haul resources into.
Similar to the Food Store, hungry player characters will automatically move to this storage and take the bread for consumption.
Humorously enough, characters will sometimes still prioritize eating out of the basket over their current task - even if their hunger stat is more than fully satisfied. This can cause minor problems for players utilizing automation in their outposts and living spaces, especially if their squad is munching on food faster than they can stockpile it.
