Secrecy is cowardice. Anyone who must work in the dark and hide their activities away from the light is usually doing so because a "good" reason, i.e., avoiding scrutiny, critique and often (necessary) opposition. The worst offenses are usually conducted out of sight. What you believe to be best practice is in fact a defense mechanism to shelter the ego. Perhaps then it is the case - you are as you do and will never amount to more. | |||
