| Some genius came up with the idea of wrapping a scrap of chain around his head for armour. He later died from a blow to the head, because he kept harping on about how cool it was people kept hitting him in the head. The idea caught on anyway, because it looks good. | ||||

Blackened Chain Headwrap is armour equipped in the headgear slot. It currently does not belong to any armour class and is listed as being made from cloth.
Appearance
Blackened Chain Headwrap and Chain Headwrap are identical in appearance with the exception of the color (this one, as the name implies, is black). The wrap which is roughly the width of a hand, wraps around the character's head stating at the brow. It covers a fair portion of the skull but leaves the neck, face and top of the head exposed to strikes.

As of 0.50.3 blueprints for the Blackened Chain Headwrap are not implemented into the game but available through use of the Forgotten Construction Set or modded games. The armour can then be crafted through a Chain Armour Crafting Bench.
