This template is a multi-purpose search engine sidebar (primarily for use on discussion pages). Use the "find sources" family of templates if you want inline text.

{{Search for|moon water}} produces:

This template always performs a whole-phrase search. There is no need to use quotation marks in the parameter.

This template comes in four versions:

• {{Search for}} – auto-collapsed to a small box
• {{Search for expanded}} – not collapsed; all options are visible by default
• {{Search for horizontal}} – horizontal version
