When used with the "Redirect category shell" (Rcat shell) template:

From a list topic: This is a redirect from the topic of a list to the equivalent list. It is not necessary to replace links to this redirect with a piped link to the target page.
- For redirects to a specific entry in a list use {{R to list entry}} instead.
- If the redirect topic is detailed enough to sustain its own article, then use {{R with possibilities}} in addition. If notability of the subject can be shown, then be bold and convert this redirect into an article on the topic.

When appropriate, protection levels are automatically sensed, described and categorized.

Usage

This redirect category (rcat) template populates Category:Redirects from list topics and, when added to a redirect in the main-article namespace (mainspace), it also sorts it to Category:Printworthy redirects. In 2003, efforts were begun to support the Wikimedia Foundation's goal of increasing access and availability of Wikipedia articles in printed versions. Mainspace redirects from list topics to their associated lists are suitable for a printed version. In other words they are printworthy.

Please do not alter the printworthy settings of this rcat without first notifying the Version 1.0 Editorial Team, who are responsible for any and all materials, including redirects, that go into a printed version of Wikipedia.

Add this rcat to a redirect in the following manner:
